Angélica Pineda Franky is a candidate for a Master's Degree in Education and New Technologies at Universidad de la Sabana (Sabana University) in Chía, Colombia. The objective of her research is to determine how to guide home-educating parents in seeking alternatives ways to educate their children, while integrating human, educational and technological perspectives through a blended learning environment. Angélica is part of an investigative team called "education without school" at Universidad Nacional de Colombia (National University of Colombia) and collaborates on the workshop with the topic "learning about education alternatives and alternatives to education.”

With 16 years of experience in different organizations, she has worked as a consultant—creating, implementing, and leading strategies and plans in human development, strategic communications, organizational change management and human resource management. She also has 10 years of experience in facilitating workshops such as "train the trainers" and "Life Project" and in the fields of communications, change management, leadership and entrepreneurship. She is bilingual and holds a bachelor´s degree in Social Communication and Journalism, from Universidad de la Sabana, with additional studies in Human Resources Management. Angélica is the mother of three children whom she has educated at home since 2014.
